Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about how the platform works.

What is Erasmus+ partner matching?
Erasmus+ projects require partner organisations from different countries. Our platform helps you find, evaluate, and connect with reliable partners and coordinators — replacing scattered social-media groups and outdated contact lists with verified profiles and structured listings.
Do I need an OID?
An OID (Organisation Identification number) is issued by the European Commission and identifies your organisation in Erasmus+ applications. We ask for it during verification so partners know you are a registered legal entity. You can complete your profile while obtaining your OID, but verification is required before contacting other organisations.
Why does verification matter?
Every organisation completes a PIF-style profile that an administrator reviews before granting full access. This keeps Project Search trustworthy: you only interact with real, approved organisations rather than anonymous accounts.
Can unverified organisations contact others?
No. Browsing is open, but publishing listings, applying to opportunities, and messaging are unlocked only after your organisation is approved. This protects everyone from spam and unreliable contacts.
How do listings work?
Approved organisations publish project-search listings describing the project, action type (KA1/KA2), fields, and the partner profile they need. Others browse and filter these listings, then apply with a short message.
How can I narrow down Project Search?
You can search by keyword and filter by the country the coordinating organisation is based in, the field (youth, VET, schools, higher education, adult education, sport), action type and sub-type (KA1/KA2), the role being recruited (partner or coordinator), and the type of organisation the listing is looking for. Country eligibility is applied for you rather than being a filter: you only ever see listings your organisation is actually allowed to apply to. Every organisation on the platform is already verified, so there is no unverified list to filter out.
How do applications work?
When a listing interests you, you apply with a short introduction. The listing owner reviews applications and accepts the organisations they want to work with. Secure in-app messaging opens automatically once an application is accepted.
How do reviews work — are they anonymous?
A review can only be left after a real, accepted collaboration on the platform, so every rating is backed by actual work together. Reviews are published on the reviewed organisation’s profile as “Verified partner review” without naming the organisation that wrote them, which keeps feedback candid. They are never anonymous to us: each review is tied to the reviewing organisation internally, our moderators can see who wrote it, and abusive or fake reviews are removed.
What does it cost?
Nothing for now. THEPS is currently in a free early-access trial: every feature is free to use and you are never asked for a payment card, so nothing can be charged. Prices will be announced soon. We will write to you before any paid plan begins, and nothing starts automatically — you decide whether to continue.
Will payments go through Stripe?
Nothing is paid during early access. Once paid plans are introduced, subscriptions will be billed securely through Stripe, and you will manage your plan and payment details from the billing area inside your account.
